Indian premiere league, commonly known as IPL is a T20 Cricket league played in T20 Format. It was established in the year 2008. The IPL league is based on round-robin group and knockout format. The teams represent major Indian cities. Matches usually start in the late afternoon as well as in the evening under the floodlights. Bad things about IPL:
Because of the IPL people have lost their interest in test cricket which is actually the real deal which checks the patience, stamina and temperament of the player.
But audience now prefers watching IPL T20 matches over the traditional test matches.
Another bad thing about IPL is it leaks the strategy of certain international captain which blocks them from using it in their international meet-ups.
Furthermore, the advantage of the home ground is lost as the overseas players now get used to playing on our pitches and in all type of weather conditions.
Ugly things about IPL:
The ugliest thing that happened in IPL is about the match fixing incident which took place in the year 2019 .some people also find it disappointed as retired players are preferring to play IPL as it clearly shows that cricket which is known to be gentleman’s game is now a money game.
